Simple. ~ Really, there's no such thing! All milk has naturally occurring sugars. Using a sugar-substitute may slightly lower the sugar content, but there's no getting around the natural sugars in milk! Sorbettos are made of water, differing forms of sugar and flavoring (and a whole lot of magic, but that's a different story..). In order to keep the consistency and flavor in the gelato and sorbettos, dextrose and sugar MUST be used. The Gelato Gal accepts no less than the best and won't sacrifice consistency and flavor in order to claim 'sugar-free' when it is simply a marketing ploy.

Trust the Gelato Gal on this - she's an insulin-dependent diabetic and has done much research on this (no animals were harmed - only the Gelato Gal was sacrificed..).
